Nigerian social media activist Verydarkman has made shocking allegations, claiming that several high-profile celebrities conspired to silence him by orchestrating his arrest. In a recent video that has gone viral, Verydarkman alleged that Davido’s PR manager Dre, actress Iyabo Ojo, music producer Samklef, and actress-turned-politician Tonto Dikeh were part of a WhatsApp group that plotted to get him jailed.
According to the activist, his arrest and detention for one month was a direct result of his outspoken campaign seeking justice for the late singer Mohbad. He believes his efforts to expose those allegedly involved in Mohbad’s tragic death made him a target for influential figures in the entertainment industry.
The group, he claims, viewed his activism as a threat and collectively acted to have him silenced. “All I wanted was justice for Mohbad,” he said in the video, “but instead they came together and made sure I was locked up.”
