Nigerian music superstar Davido is once again in the eye of a cheating storm, as a Snapchat user known as Milkshake recently accused him of having an affair with a woman named Jessie Awazie — barely a month after his lavish white wedding to Chioma Rowland.
According to the viral posts making rounds on X (formerly Twitter), Milkshake claims that Davido allegedly sent ₦25 million and $20,000 to Jessie — the money supposedly intended as an apology and for her to start a business. The accuser went further to suggest that Jessie may be infected with an STI and accused the DMW boss of endangering his marriage by allegedly continuing to engage in risky behavior.
Social media has been buzzing ever since, with fans divided. While some are demanding clarity from the singer, others are defending him, pointing out that the allegations are yet to be backed by any solid evidence.
This isn’t Davido’s first run-in with cheating allegations. In 2023, he was called out by American influencer Anita Brown and French model Ivanna Bay, both of whom claimed they were romantically involved with him while he was publicly committed to Chioma.
However, Davido had recently addressed his past behavior in a media interview, saying, “I’m not cheating again. I don’t want wahala.” He expressed that marriage had brought him peace and made him change his lifestyle.
As of now, Davido and Chioma have not publicly responded to the latest allegations.
